The band Rainbow Portal formed in 2025 after several Ladies Rock/Girls Rock St Pete InstruCoach volunteers started jamming together regularly and decided to create their own blend of original music.

Their sound may be hard to pigeonhole, but has elements of Indie Rock Folk art Punk. They are hopeful and fun and want to send the message that everybody’s voice matters. 

Rainbow Portal is composed of Valerie Knight on the bass, Jessica Tomlinson on keys, Keirsten Johnson on drums and Jennifer Saez on guitar and accordion, but they may switch up their instruments from time to time.
